PURE INDIGO BLUE PEARL -KAREN- (華蓮)
Product Details
A Gift of Indigo, Just for You.
Crafted Only Once a Month.
What makes BLUE PEARL so special that it can only be created once a month?
Natural Akoya pearls are exceptionally delicate.
To dye these precious pearls in a beautiful shade of indigo, the purity of the indigo dye solution is of utmost importance.
For this reason, the pearls can only be dyed immediately after the indigo dye bath has been refreshed, when the solution is at its purest and free from impurities.
Only under these carefully controlled conditions, and during this limited window of time, can skilled artisans carry out the traditional Japanese indigo-dyeing process.
The result is an extraordinary Akoya pearl, adorned with a beautiful, one-of-a-kind shade of indigo.
An exceptional pearl, born from the artistry of Japanese craftsmanship.
Three natural Akoya pearls, each individually dyed using traditional Japanese indigo techniques, come together in a single elegant necklace.
On either side, delicately faceted 18K white gold beads add a refined touch of brilliance.
Three distinct shades of indigo create remarkable depth, beautifully complemented by the pure, luminous glow of white gold.
Introducing BLUE PEARL KAREN, a necklace that embodies understated elegance, quiet beauty, and a captivating presence.
■ The Art of Authentic Indigo Dyeing
【Indigo Dyeing | Fukuyama, Hiroshima, Japan】
Each natural Akoya pearl is carefully dyed by skilled indigo artisans in Fukuyama, Hiroshima.
The pearls are repeatedly immersed in natural indigo dye and exposed to air, allowing the indigo to oxidize.
This meticulous process is repeated approximately 90 to 120 times, gradually building layers of rich, beautiful color.
What emerges is not a uniform shade of blue.
Deep indigo. Soft blue. Subtle variations of light and shadow, unique to every pearl.
While preserving the natural, gentle luster of Akoya pearls, this traditional technique transforms each one into a BLUE PEARL of extraordinary depth and character.
■ Okayama's Crystal-Clear Coating: Preserving Indigo in a Crystal
【Transparent Coating | Okayama, Japan】
After the indigo-dyeing process, each pearl is individually treated with a transparent protective coating by skilled artisans in Okayama.
This delicate coating encapsulates the deep indigo tones and subtle luster within a crystal-clear layer, giving each pearl the appearance of an "Indigo Crystal."
Traditional indigo dyeing in Fukuyama.
Precision transparent coating in Okayama.
Two exceptional Japanese craftsmanship traditions, passed down through generations in the Setouchi region, come together within a single Akoya pearl.
■ Three Pearls, One Beautiful Landscape of Indigo
This necklace features three natural Akoya pearls, each individually dyed in authentic Japanese indigo.
Every pearl possesses its own unique shape, luster, and depth of color.
A deep indigo pearl rests beside a softer blue, while a third reveals another expression as it catches the light.
Together, these three pearls enhance one another's individuality, creating a beautiful, multidimensional landscape of indigo that could never be achieved with a single, uniform color.
The beauty of this necklace lies not in perfect uniformity, but in the harmony of three distinct expressions of indigo.
Three unique shades. One extraordinary piece of jewelry.
■ 18K White Gold — A Quiet Expression of Elegance
Positioned on either side of the three indigo pearls are two beautifully faceted 18K white gold beads.
Their precisely cut surfaces catch the light, creating delicate reflections that change with every movement.
The pure, luminous brilliance of white gold enhances the deep, mysterious tones of the indigo-dyed pearls.
These details are not designed to overwhelm, but to reveal the true beauty of indigo.
A subtle touch of brilliance that brings refined elegance to the three BLUE PEARL gemstones.
Please note: The Japanese product designation "Hakkin" refers to the clear, white brilliance of 18K white gold. The decorative components are made of 18K white gold, not platinum.
■ A Beautiful Contrast of Indigo and White Gold
Three indigo pearls, each with its own remarkable depth of color.
Two delicately shining 18K white gold beads on either side.
The soft, natural luster of Akoya pearls meets the refined brilliance of faceted white gold.
By combining these contrasting textures, we have created a necklace that is quietly sophisticated yet effortlessly captivating.
A piece that makes its presence felt without ever demanding attention.
【A Special Gift for Yourself or Someone You Love】
Every indigo-dyed pearl is unique.
With subtle differences in color, texture, and natural character, no two pearls are ever exactly alike.
Each necklace is therefore a truly one-of-a-kind creation.
Whether as a meaningful reward for yourself or a thoughtful gift for someone special, BLUE PEARL offers a timeless expression of Japanese beauty and craftsmanship.
【Luxury Jewelry Gift Box】
Each necklace is carefully prepared and presented in a luxurious black velvet-style jewelry box.

■ About Our Indigo-Dyed Pearls
Each BLUE PEARL is created by applying authentic Japanese natural indigo dye to a genuine Akoya pearl, followed by a transparent protective coating designed to help preserve its beautiful color.
Because natural indigo is used, each of the three pearls may display subtle variations in color intensity, patterns, and surface appearance.
Over time, friction and natural aging may also cause slight changes in the indigo tones and surface characteristics.
These individual differences are part of the unique beauty of BLUE PEARL.
We invite you to appreciate the natural individuality of each pearl and the harmony created by three distinct expressions of indigo.
【Important Information About the Pearls】
- Our indigo-dyed pearls are not produced through a double-dyeing process. Each pearl undergoes authentic natural indigo dyeing, followed by a protective coating treatment.
- Due to the characteristics of natural pearls and traditional indigo dyeing, small surface indentations, natural imperfections, or traces of indigo residue may be visible.
- As genuine natural Akoya pearls are used, variations in shape, luster, and indigo color are to be expected.
- Each of the three pearls possesses its own unique color and character. We invite you to embrace these subtle differences as part of the necklace's distinctive beauty.
No Two Shades of Indigo Are Ever the Same.
Three unique expressions of indigo come together to create one extraordinary piece of jewelry.
A beautiful crystal of Japanese indigo, created by the artistry of nature and tradition.
A timeless expression of beauty, crafted just for you.
