The generous sleeves and straight lines create a composed silhouette, while the BLACK ICE finish gives the black denim the depth and variation of a garment shaped gradually through time.

BLACK ICE Vintage Finish

BLACK ICE is a vintage treatment applied individually by denim craftsmen in Okayama. Each jacket is assessed and finished by hand to create natural variation in creasing, abrasion, and tonal depth.

The process begins with stone washing, using pumice to soften the surface and create natural wear along the edges and areas that would normally respond to movement.

Selected areas are then treated with bleach, introducing pale, ice-like highlights within the deep black surface. The result is a layered appearance that cannot be achieved through flat, uniform color alone.

Because the finish responds differently to each piece of denim, the placement of creases, fading, and contrast will vary. These differences are an inherent part of the BLACK ICE character.

• Black Okayama Denim
  Made with substantial black denim produced in Okayama, one of Japan’s leading denim regions. The fabric combines structure with flexibility and continues to develop naturally through wear.
• KIMONO-Inspired Sleeves
  Wide sleeves reinterpret traditional kimono construction for a contemporary jacket. Their generous shape creates movement, drape, and changing shadow as the wearer moves.
• Arizona Leather Fastening
  The front fastening is made from genuine Arizona cow leather. Its surface develops greater depth and sheen over time, evolving alongside the denim.
• Golden-Brown Multi-Row Stitching
  Multiple rows of golden-brown stitching define the collar and cuffs. Against the dark denim, the lines bring subtle structure and a restrained reference to traditional Japanese sashiko.
• Individually Finished Surface
  Each jacket is treated and finished individually. Variations in fading, abrasion, tone, and texture are intentional.

Shipping Schedule
