PURE INDIGO refers to the use of authentic natural indigo dyeing, applied through traditional Japanese methods.

A miracle of indigo, worn at the neckline.

AIDAMA means “a jewel of indigo.” This Akoya pearl has undergone authentic natural indigo dyeing, a process once thought impossible for natural pearls.

Through repeated dyeing stages over more than a month, layers of indigo gradually permeate the pearl, creating a marble-like depth where shadow and light coexist.

Concept

BLUE PEARL – AIDAMA represents the culmination of traditional Japanese indigo dyeing and natural Akoya pearl craftsmanship.

Each pearl absorbs indigo differently, making the outcome impossible to fully control. This unpredictability is precisely what gives AIDAMA its mystique.

Authentic Indigo Dyeing

The indigo dyeing process used for AIDAMA requires extraordinary time, skill, and environmental conditions.

Because of these constraints, production is strictly limited to a maximum of 30 pieces per batch, with only a small number achievable each month.

Variations in season and indigo condition further restrict production timing, making each release exceptionally rare.

Craftsmanship

AIDAMA was created through collaboration between Okayama-based denim artist Toshiki Aoki and master Akoya pearl craftsmen.

Every pearl reflects the uncompromising standards and pride of artisans who refuse shortcuts. This single jewel carries time, patience, and intent.
