Inspired by Raijin — the Japanese thunder deity — this piece embodies force, rhythm, and quiet authority.
Concept
Rather than preserving tradition as ornament, we allow it to live through structure and silhouette. The kimono-inspired sleeve remains fluid and timeless, while the hoodie construction grounds it in modern life.
The back composition features Nishijin weaving layered within deep black sashiko denim, framed in a rectangular structure. Gold threads catch the light, balanced by the density of textured denim.
