From the moment you put it on, what you feel is not something that needs explanation— but a calm, unmistakable sense of “Japan.” Designed to mature with the wearer over time, this jacket is intentionally free from trends.

Design Philosophy

The collar and sleeve construction are inspired by traditional samue and haori. By minimizing curves and relying on disciplined pattern work, the jacket naturally follows the body’s lines without excess.

By removing unnecessary decoration, the design allows the presence of the wearer to come forward. Though it is a jacket, it carries the quiet atmosphere of Japanese garments.

Materials

The fabric is a medium-weight denim produced in Okayama, Japan. It offers firm structure while gradually softening and molding to the body with wear, developing deeper character over time.

A subtle vintage finish gives the jacket a calm, settled expression even when brand new.

Each jacket is carefully sewn in Ihara City, Okayama Prefecture, by skilled artisans. The result is a stability in stitching and a three-dimensional silhouette that mass production cannot achieve.

Made in Japan, finished with Japanese sensibility— a denim jacket designed to be worn for years, not seasons.
